Restaurants have overall ratings in the top 20% for their Diamond Rating level, plus no member complaints in the past 12 months.
The space is lovely and serene, as one might expect at this more casual bar/ lounge of the superlative main restaurant next door. The menu is smaller, but top-quality dishes are simple yet distinguished. Offerings include sake-steamed clams, sea eel tempura with shiso leaf and such sashimi salads as salmon with kaiware mustard soy and organic Kobe beef tataki with garlic. A few rolls, soups and rice plates also are offered.
