In a historic brownstone, with three levels of service, this long-established restaurant has a style and easygoing sophistication which is timeless. Diners can experience some fine modern Japanese cuisine, including Wagyu beef and some very nicely presented sushi and sashimi. The lobster tempura roll and green tea mille crêpe dessert are recommended. This is the rare downtown restaurant which remains a colorful and desirable destination after a span of over two decades.
