Classic. This smartly sophisticated Art Deco bistro has been a bustling Upper West Side favorite for years due in no small part to the classic French fare and professional service. The kitchen turns out comfortable, traditional fare including steak au poivre, chicken paillard, seared tuna au poivre and frisée salad with lardons, all with great aplomb. When in season, the fried baby artichokes served with olive tapenade are a great choice. There is a superior wine selection, including by the glass.
