This is about as close as it gets to being about 3000 miles away, in a small Southern Italian eatery. The Little Italy area: but not for the tourists.
AAA Inspector Notes
Classic like few others, this small, low-key, traditional Italian eatery for A-list celebrities has hosted everyone from Streisand to Billy Joel and Justin Bieber to Barack Obama in its two dining rooms (if walls could talk, they'd recount some colorful tales). David Bowie was a regular when he lived nearby. The owner, Emilio Vitolo, runs the famous restaurant like a private lair. It's one reason that celebrities love the place; the other reason is the standout veal chops, fresh pastas and fish.
