Originally opened in 1937, this place has the feel of an old time upscale New York tavern with a great menu of French classic dishes. The menu offers such plates as truffled pork sausage with oysters on the half shell, braised oxtail, filet of trout Meunière and grilled steaks. At lunch they are known for the excellent French dip sandwich. The comfortable bar features a list of fun, classic cocktails.
