In 1900, the Ottomanelli family settled in New York and started in the meat business. Within 20 years, the family-operated company had become a well-known and reliable wholesaler and purveyor of fine-quality meats. It remains so today, but adds another feather in its cap: restaurateur. The casual and compact storefront spot prepares great steaks, burgers and roasted chicken, in addition to a nice selection of classic Italian dishes, fine Bolognese and lasagna. Portions are hearty.
