Chef/Owner Gabrielle Hamilton has become known far and wide for the eclectic fare she turns out from this small spot that still nostalgically sports its turn-of-the-century fixtures. The cuisine is distinctive yet cozy and homey, with such seasonal specialties as marinated fresh anchovies, suckling pig, roasted marrow bones, whole grilled fish and pasta kerchief, and a fun snack menu at the bar. Reservations are not taken for brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
