I really enjoy the mood here, as it feels so authentically Japanese. You can lose yourself for an hour and slip into a completely different world.
AAA Inspector Notes
Sublime and simple décor makes use of the large space, and beautifully grained blond wood is everywhere the eye looks. The top-shelf sushi restaurant serves the finest quality fresh fish, which is well cut and tender. It's typical that some fish on the list of available options are not seen anywhere else in the city. Daily specials are printed on a one-page sheet handed to each guest, and flexible combination platters and prix fixe menu tasting options are available, with grilled salmon, too. As is customary in Japan, this restaurant is unique as there is no tipping, and gratuities are not accepted, with the servers being fully compensated by their salaries.
