If it was a bad day on Wall Street they come here; or, a good day on Wall Street - they'll come here. You'll feel the city's true energy as you enter.
AAA Inspector Notes
At the tip of Lower Manhattan, nestled amid Wall Street institutions, is one of the very best Irish pubs in the city. The cocktails are fabulous—check out the "Show-Off " with Armagnac or the "Bachelor Pad" with Scottish gin and egg white—and the service staff is highly personable. Try the positively great burger with Irish cheddar, the corned beef,or the simple but satisfying fish and chips. The cozy ground-floor pub and tap room can get boisterous after work with animated Wall Street groups, but the parlor rooms on the second and third floors offer a more relaxed sit down. Food is served on all floors: be sure to check out the deviled eggs, to be paired with a perfectly pulled pint of Guinness. The selection of artisan craft beers on tap is excellent; some are from small, high-quality New England breweries. This place serves a heady mix of delectable potions. It's a top pick for socializing and specialty top-shelf drinks.
