AAA Inspector Notes
This relaxed, yet citified, place fits easily into its surroundings in SoHo, perched on a corner with large windows for people-watching. The menu starts with a nice raw bar selection, and goes on to include familiar salads, sandwiches and entrées made with the high-quality, local and sometimes organic ingredients that are so readily available in New York. Appetizers might include American Burrata cheese with organic broccoli and pine nuts. Be sure to try one of the excellent pies for dessert. Entrées range from the popular hot fried chicken with honey butter biscuits to the steamed snapper with crispy rice and mushroom-yuzu broth or the grilled lamb T-bone with olive marmalade, fava beans and mint.
