AAA Inspector Notes
From Armenian to Yugoslavian food, the East Village has become a veritable United Nations of restaurants. This eatery, of course, is Moroccan. The second-floor dining room overlooks the busy street below, but the hypnotic, Middle East-inspired music drowns out the cabs, sirens, horns and crowds. The menu features splendid dishes, including braised lamb shanks, bastilla and heady tagines.
