AAA Inspector Notes
First opened in 1923, this cozy inn features an impressive Tudor-style exterior and a variety of room types that are individually decorated with period furnishings and reproductions. All rooms have a jetted bathtub, and some have a gas fireplace. If you crave extra space, ask about the one- and two-bedroom suites, some of which have full kitchens. Breakfast is included in all room rates, served a la carte in the restaurant. The inn is located across the street from the upper rapids of the Niagara River, and the falls are a short walk away. Smoke free premises. 35 units, some two bedrooms and kitchens. 3 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.

Pros: Included breakfast that was very good. location very good
Cons: the entry doors do not have any door stops. you have to have a person handy or use your own luggage if heavy enough. When a person comes to visit you or come to you.. he/she has to call you to come down. There should be a buzzer system and at least a front door hook on the door for convenience.

Pros:
Cons: The room itself was very clean except for the toilet. It appeared someone had used it after the room had been cleaned. and left us with a surprise.

Pros: Lovely place in a great location.
Cons: Restaurant Service was very poor, people were leaving. The food was wonderful but the management of floor staff left a lot to be desired.

Pros: The hotel is an old coaching inn, so had a period charm. It is close to the park and the bus route for touring the park. The Rainbow Bridge to cross to the Canadian side is about ten minutes' walk away.
Cons: On my arrival the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming with an abrupt manner on the verge of rudeness. This was not a general feature - other members of staff were far more friendly.
