AAA Editor Notes
Rock City Park, 5 mi. s. on SR 16, has paths and stairways that wind through 320 million-year-old quartz boulders projecting from the edge of the Allegheny Mountains. The site reputedly has the world's largest exposure of quartz conglomerate, also known as pudding stone. One stairway is believed to have been built by the Seneca Indians, who used the area as a fortress. The park's museum building has a picture gallery and a fluorescent rock display.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
