Earle-Wightman Historic House, 20 Summit St., was built in 1720 as a one-room home, with additional rooms added over the following 150 years by successive owners. One room has been renovated to reflect the 18th century, and a second room depicts a 19th-century parlor. Other rooms feature changing exhibits. An 18th-century garden is on the grounds. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Tues.-Fri. 10-2, Sat. 11-3, Sun. 1-4. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
