The Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor

The Great Escape & Hurricane Harbor is at 1172 SR 9, just e. of I-87 Northway via exits 19 or 20. This 140-acre theme park is one of the state's largest, with more than 135 rides, shows and attractions, including Adirondack Outlaw, Greezed Lightnin’ and Steamin’ Demon as well as the classic wooden coaster, The Comet. Three areas—Timbertown, Storytown and Monsoon Lagoon—are specifically designed for children. Hurricane Harbor features the Tornado water slide, Splashwater Island, a 500,000-gallon wave pool, Buccaneer Beach, and Bonzai Pipelines—a pair of twisting body slides with impressive heights and nearly 300 feet of thrilling speeds.
