Saratoga Springs History Museum, off Broadway (US 9) in Congress Park, is housed in the 1870 Canfield Casino and features exhibits that trace Saratoga Springs' growth from a rural village to a flamboyant resort. Topics of interest include gambling paraphernalia, lake houses and notable residents. The park contains Italian sculpture gardens and works by Daniel Chester French, who created the seated Lincoln in the Washington, D.C., memorial.
