These very unique guest rooms range from economical to upscale, and all are spacious. This property is in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants.

Pros: Suite fit for royalty! Clean, warm, stylish, full kitchen with thoughtful touches like silverware, can opener, in addition to coffees, teas.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable...mattresses need updating as well as carpeting in room we stayed in
Pros: The room (king suite) was well above my expectations. There was a lot if effort to make it delightfully decorated and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Nice traditional feeling in the room. Very comfortable.
Cons: Fine for now, but for sure will need some refreshments in the coming years. (But that is part of the charm).
Pros: Cleanliness of room, Adirondack Theme, Proximaty to downtown area. Attendative housekeeper. Reasonable Rates.
Cons: 24 hr McDonalds directly across street too loud during early morning hours 4:00am-5:30am, especially on weekend nights.
Pros: The owner was very pleasant. The kitchen was very nice addition. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The carpet was full of black spots, really needed to be cleaned.

Pros: Beautiful rooms with period furnishings well located
Cons: In one room the plumbing was new and the shower was not hooked up. Small complaint.
Pros: The wifi was consistent and the rocking chairs outside of the door wererefreshing giving the room a porch like feel. It was pleasant justpeople watching from the chairs.
Cons: The room had a very musty smell. I thought it would dissipate with thedoor and windows open while sitting in the rocking chairs outside. Thatdidn't work. The pillow had a chemical smell to it that woke me upduring the night several times. In the morning I went to make coffeeonly to find drops of coffee still in the carafe from the previousguest. I didn't want to take a chance so I washed the mugs myselftoo. Once it was light enough in the room I noticed black flecks on thesheets. I've never seen them before but suspect bedbug residue. Thisgrossed me out and couldn't wait to get out. I didn't have anyevidence of bites on me but couldn't help but to think they werethere and that the chemical smell may have been a treatment of somesort. When I booked the property I was blinded by the 5 stars. Itdisappoints me to know that the property listing was ranked so high onlyto book a no refundable room that only deserved 0-1 star.
Pros: We were in town for the Saratoga Palio and booked the last room, a deluxe suite with spa bath. The gentleman whom checked us in was very helpful and friendly, as he personally showed us our room. We were very pleasantly surprised with this incredibley unique, clean and spacious suite. A great value close to downtown and many useful amenities, we will definitely be back.
Cons: The hallway light was on a timer, so coming and going during shorter autumn daylight hours could be somewhat hazardous. However the gentleman did asure us that the issue was being addressed and cautioned us upon check in.
Pros: The location was good. It was clean except for the windows which were full of cobwebs when I pulled back the curtains. Easy to get to other Saratoga establishments.
Cons: The owner was not there and myself and other vacationers had to call him as per the note on the door. That would be fine but the door was not locked. This was concerning because I was able to walk into the waiting area and receipts and other bookkeeping items were right out there for anyone to go through (ie, credit card receipts reservation book). Security not an issue? When he did get to the hotel to check myself and another guest in, I presented him with my credit card and he didn't even look at it and didn't have me sign the receipt, even when I asked him! I require that picture ID be shown when the credit card is used as a security precaution. However, he was so preoccupied with other things that he didn't seem to care too much. Then a couple came after us and he was gone again. I could understand if the check-in time was later but it was 2:30-3pm and Check-in is at 1pm.
Pros: the new owner, it was a nice place in a good location.
Cons: Price (though it was race season) - bathroom was lovely - bedroom was very outdated.
Pros: Location... Dunkin and McDonald's right across the street... Can't beat it
Pros: We never ended up staying!
Cons: Found a bedbug on arrival. Told the owner (with a picture) and he (Steve) said that I was being unreasonable by asking for a refund since he was willing to put us in another room and refused to refund our money for that nite AND the next unless he "could rent THAT room to someone else" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! Ewwww! Trying to dispute the charge to our credit card company as we "speak"!! Extremely unprofessional and uncaring! STAY CLEAR! Read RECENT reviews...wish I had!!!!
