Schenectady County Historical Society Museum of Schenectady History, 32 Washington Ave., is housed in the 1895 Dora Jackson house. The museum contains 18th- and 19th-century furnishings, artifacts of Dutch heritage, an 1834 dollhouse and the Grems-Doolittle genealogy library.

Guided tours are available.
