AAA Inspector Notes
Built in 1872 as part of a Methodist Camp, this charming Victorian has been restored to the glory of its 1940s heyday. Wake up to a gourmet organic breakfast and the smell of fresh brewed coffee. Rain shower heads, refurbished wood floors and beds covered with crisp, white duvets add comfort and style. Rooms in the seasonal Summer Cottage are considered teeny tiny at approximately 100 square feet but allow guests to pay less and stay at this impressive property with access to all the luxuries of the main house. Each room offers a Turkish towel and hat that you can take to the beach in summer or a warm blanket and hot water bottle in the cooler months. Many guests are found relaxing and enjoying the constant breeze off the water on the lovely, furnished front porch that is complete with a day bed.
Did not meet all AAA rating requirements for viewports/peepholes in some guest rooms at time of last evaluation on 09/07/2017. Facilities, services, and décor characterize a mid-scale property.
