Who needs the long flight to Italy! The locals here speak Italian and know how to cook. At this spot, the decor is richly Old World and service warm.
AAA Inspector Notes
It's no secret to Gotham's serious diners that Staten Island has some of the best traditional, old-school Italian restaurants in the city. Bocelli is quite possibly the best at daily crafting expertly prepared seafood and meat specialties. Located in a drab mini-mall, the ornate, rich Italianate décor fits the classic cuisine. I recommend the freshly made specials. Service is engaged in the dining experience and will steer the diner as to what are the real gems on the menu.
