In Staten Island there is a kind of Mid-20th Century bliss at this smartly revitalized steak and seafood eatery. Best, the tariff does not sting.
AAA Inspector Notes
Revitalized by an owner with New York City nightlife experience, this 1960s-era steakhouse has been modernized just enough to bring in fresh clientele but not scare off any of the regulars. The capable service staff excels and the kitchen hits a bullseye with a menu that includes steak, seafood specials, crab cakes and pasta. The charbroiled rib-eye and the porterhouse steaks are flavorful and a relative steal for the metropolitan area. The chain hotels off the West Shore Expressway are nearby.
