Taughannock Falls State Park is 4 mi. s. on SR 89 to 1740 Taughannock Blvd. The 215-foot Taughannock Falls is in a .75-mile-long glen with sides rising from 350 to 400 feet. Trails follow the edge of the gorge. The park offers a weekly schedule of guided tours and nature programs. Camping, boating and swimming are permitted in season. Concerts are presented in summer. Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
$8 (per private vehicle daily June 1-Labor Day and Sat.-Sun. mid-Apr. through May 30 and day after Labor Day-Columbus Day); free (rest of year).
Hours: Park open daily dawn-dusk. The Rim Trail is closed mid-Nov. to mid-Mar.
