AAA Inspector Notes
This 1926 hotel of Gothic Revival architecture is stunning. The preservation of original marble floors, stained glass windows, and exquisite light fixtures are perfectly paired with modernity. Guests enter through the West Point Military Academy gate and a photo ID is required upon entry. It's hilltop setting provides views of the Hudson River and many of the rooms are dedicated to a distinguished graduate of the academy. These rooms are adorned with photos and memorabilia. Riverside view rooms afford lovely scenic vistas but noise from the train can be heard therefore light sleepers should request a room overlooking the mountainside.
