Historic. Built in 1827, this has served as a hostel, historic tavern and stagecoach mid-station. The menu offers comfort foods such as the ever-popular chicken pot pie with puff pastry; daily fish fry; and a tray full of luscious, homemade desserts. Daily specials are always interesting and offer rich flavors based upon the season. Be sure to peruse the aged wood-and-brick walls for glimpses into the history of both the building and the restaurant itself.
