Corner Brook Museum & Archives is at 2 West St. The 1925 building was previously used as a courthouse, customs office, post office and telegraph building. Exhibits showcase the city's cultural, industrial and social history. Local industries showcased include paper production, fishing and forestry. Historical photos and displays about local aboriginal culture, the military and the influence of Captain James Cook in Canada also are displayed.
