Provincial Seamen's Museum, 54 Marine Dr., presents Newfoundland and Labrador's seafaring heritage through displays of ship models, photographs and documents relating to the south coast fishing industry. The 1,115-square-metre (12,000-sq.-ft.) building resembles the sails of a schooner and is a memorial to Newfoundlanders who have died at sea; it was originally the Yugoslavian Pavilion for Montréal Expo '67. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
