Grenfell Interpretation Centre & Historic Properties

Grenfell Interpretation Centre & Historic Properties is in the center of town at 1 Maraval Rd. The center has displays that highlight the life of Sir Wilfred Grenfell, founder of the Grenfell Hospital Mission to Newfoundland and Labrador. He established the hospital in response to the needs of destitute fishermen in the area and was knighted for his work in 1928.

At the end of a walking trail is Tea House Hill, the burial site of Grenfell and his wife. A rotunda features ceramic murals depicting life in the province. A park also is on the grounds.
