Historic. There aren't many places that change their menu for every meal, but it helps if you have an on-site garden and even chickens for fresh eggs. The cottage was built in the 18th century and the décor has a slightly modern edge and preserves are displayed along beams crisscrossing the room to set the scene. Flavors are amazing and the menu choices are very interesting with a kind of new-world Newfoundland flavor. Also, you may enjoy the small but wonderful wine list and craft cocktails. Parking is limited within the Quidi Vidi historic fishing village; therefore, it’s best to take a taxi here in season.
