Lester-Garland House, on West St., is a 1997 reconstruction of the brick Georgian house that was built on this site in the 1760s for Benjamin Lester, a fish merchant from Poole, England. Lester's grandson, John Bingley Garland, was a later resident and extended the house. The original stone foundations and some of the bricks have been incorporated. Visitors can see some original furnishings as well as the Trinity Historical Society Archives. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
Trinity Experience passes available at the Visitor Centre on West Street. (Admission includes Green Family Forge, Hiscock House, Mercantile Premises, Trinity Museum, Cooperage and Trinity Visitor Centre) $20; free (ages 0-6).
