AAA Editor Notes
Lester-Garland House, on West St., is a 1997 reconstruction of the brick Georgian house that was built on this site in the 1760s for Benjamin Lester, a fish merchant from Poole, England. Lester's grandson, John Bingley Garland, was a later resident and extended the house. The original stone foundations and some of the bricks have been incorporated. Visitors will see some of the original furnishings.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
