The 1719 William Trent House is at the intersection of Market St. and William Trent Pl. Said to be city's oldest still-standing house, the residence was built in 1719 by William Trent. It was subsequently the home of a number of prominent individuals, including the first Colonial governor of New Jersey, Lewis Morris.
