Literally sitting in the Hudson River, held aloft on pier pilings overlooking the Manhattan skyline, this small Mediterranean gem serves up Greek favorites in a low key but highly amiable setting. The light-filled, white-washed room is serviced by a friendly team, who make the dining experience a slice of waterfront perfection. Grilled octopus, lamb preparations and fresh grilled fish are part of a highly appealing menu. A seasonal rotation of seafood specialties nicely broadens the offerings. Hurricane Sandy laid waste to this small harbor in 2012, but out of the destruction this charming new seaside eatery was born.
