Craggy Gardens is at Milepost 364.5, 18 mi. n.e. of Asheville, N.C. The Craggy Mountains, at an elevation of 5,500-6,000 feet, are a colorful sight when the rhododendrons bloom around mid-June. Trails and a visitor center are available.
