Pros: Location was good. Easy access to the highway and Ashville.
Cons: Sold as a double room. It was a regular room with 2 beds for twice the price as what it would have been somewhere else.

Pros: Fridays restaurant and close to biltmore estate
Cons: The room smelled like cat urine. The rooms need updated. Uncomfortable accommodations. Very disappointing being a doubletree. We pay the extra to stay at the biltmore. This is no reflection in the city of Asheville

Pros: I liked the comfortable bed, pillows, linens and robes. I also liked how close the hotel was to the meeting place which drew me to Asheville. It was nice being quite literally right next to the Biltmore Estate. The breakfast buffet was good and the setting was nice. My spouse enjoyed the TGIFridays attached to the hotel. He was able to hang out there after check out until I was finished with my business in Asheville.
Cons: Top of my list is the price. I paid more for booking the same room than any other person I knew in our group staying at this hotel. Not a big deal if we're talking about a small amount of money...but when we're talking about a one hundred dollar difference per night, I was very upset. I booked in advance so there wouldn't have been last minute price increases. Our room also had a balcony that required we fish through two sets of locked curtains each time we wanted to use it; this is after moving a chair and table out of the way to get to the door of the patio. Apparently the set up was backwards. Parking was a great challenge our first night but eased up the last days of our stay. Hot water was not an issue the first night of our stay, but the last morning we were there we showered with little more than a warm sprinkle. All the guests waiting with me agreed and reported the long wait for our elevator. My spouse and I took the stairs on a few occasions to avoid the slow elevators.
