Historic. A beautiful chestnut wood back bar was the inspiration for the restaurant's name. Oak floors, wrought-iron accents and large lamp lights all work together to create a relaxing ambience. The chef is inventive and highlights different sliders, soups and entrées daily. I drooled watching all the meals coming out of the kitchen and selected a beet and goat cheese salad, a portobello sandwich on focaccia and a delectable lemon cheesecake.
