The shabby-chic décor with mismatched furniture and a colorful menu chalkboard enhanced my experience.
AAA Inspector Notes
Touted as the pioneer of the farm-to-table phenomenon in Asheville, this restaurant started as a lark but has grown into the go-to for slow-cooked Southern comfort food in the region. There's pulled pork, meatloaf and buttermilk chicken, all prepared from scratch using organic and locally sourced vegetables and proteins. The décor is eclectic, but hey, it's all about the food here.
