Historic. Across from the waterfront, this restaurant sits in a historic former general store that features original plank floors and walls decorated with local memorabilia. The menu offers great local seafood in many forms, such as buffalo shrimp, seafood bisque, crab cakes, fried flounder and grilled fresh catch of the day. Landlubber favorites include half-pound burgers, stacked-high sandwiches and "made-here" desserts like carrot cake and the famous mud pie. There's a wide selection of microbrews, including Carolina beers.
