Swannanoa Valley Museum is at 223 W. State St. It occupies the historic Black Mountain Firehouse, designed and built in 1921 by Richard Sharp Smith, supervising architect of the Biltmore estate. Exhibits focus on early settlers and Swannanoa Valley history. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
