Pros: The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great. Loved the deck on the front of the hotel where you could sit and look out at the mountains.

Very overpriced for the condition of the room and the services rendered. Front door would not close completely and there was a rush of cold air entering the room. Overall the room attire was something from the 80s and should have been prices around $70 per night.The cleaning staff was below par and took out the trash at most, we made daily trips to the front desk for towel service.The hotel had location, but price did not match room expectations and services. Since our children and grand=children have relocated to Black Mt. we will make many trips to the area, but never stay at the hotel at the rates charged .
Pros: Location to downtown Black Mountain and grocery store across the road.

we checked in and the host even told us it was the coldest day of the year. we got to our cold room and called down to let her know the heat wasn't coming on. she told us to give it a "second" we tried calling down again and we so exhausted we finally just gave up. FOUR HOURS later it finally came on warm slightly. when I checked out the next morning the GENERAL MANAGER was advised of this and all he did was say he was sorry. I will not be booking "Quality" Inn again, HUGE difference even in the room quality from Best Western!
Pros:
Cons: I prepaid for this theyes knew I was coming having the room ready and warm would have been nice. Heat would have been nice. Customer service would have been nice.
