Chetola Resort at Blowing Rock

Perched on a hill overlooking a pond frequented by ducks and swans, this picturesque resort features a 42-room lodge and 8-suite upscale inn-within-the-inn, Bob Timberlake Inn. Spacious rooms feature upscale furnishings in a variety of styles. Most lodge rooms facing the pond have a balcony with chairs, but you can get a closer view of the charming scenery from one of the many Adirondack chairs scattered along the shoreline. The eight first-floor rooms of the lodge have tiled floors and are pet-friendly, with a maximum of two dogs permitted per room. The Bob Timberlake Inn’s suites feature curated furnishings and artwork, gas fireplaces, and jetted bathtubs, and offer additional concierge-style amenities like an evening social and included breakfast. A resort fee is assessed daily to cover the many recreational activities offered on property. There are also vacation-rental condos on site at the resort, but those units are not AAA-inspected.
