The hotel is probably usually very nice, but for $400 a night it should be. The hotel was under construction due to a fire on the 6th floor which then resulted in extensive water damage. I understand this is no ones fault, accidents happen. However, i feel it could have been handled differently. We were not notified ahead of time or even when we checked in of the renovation. There were construction workers all over the hotel. Our hall was completely destroyed with the exception of our room and a couple others. We could hear the workers working while in our room and every time we went to get on the elevator we had to wait forever due to all the construction activity. There were several times our group had to seperate on the elevator or just wait for another one b/c of workers and equipment clogging the elevator. It was very inconvenient. The hallways were miserably hot and had wires exposed on the walls and cords duct taped to the floor so thick your luggage or the luggage carts got stuck. It was almost impossible to maneuver down the hall. The air in our room (504) didn't work well at all. It was set on 61 but yet it stayed very warm. The drain in the sink and the tub didn't drain as it should have nor did the toilet flush easliy. We contributed this to all the hotel damage. We just feel that for $400 a night our experience should've been excellent. This however, was not. Upon departure I spoke with the front desk of my concerns and she assured me that she would speak with her manager and they would make it right. It is now 3 days later and I have yet to receive any correspondence.
Pros: The location
Cons: All the construction
Pros: The water view
Cons: We have spend every anniversary there j for 10 years....they always suggest giving us something....but there is nothing offered...breakfast or free coffee....something would be nice:(

Pros: Very clean. Nice view. Poor wifi (I spoke with the staff about the slow wifi and they did not even offer to refund my $4.95. Met another guest on elevator with same wifi problem, he paid $4.95 for 3 megs down too.)
Cons: The wifi is terrible. The guest wifi speed was 1 megabyte down, so I paid $4.95 for the faster speed. After paying, the speed was 3 megabytes down. I could not stream DirectTVNow and later, I had a problem watching video on Mediate. I used my Verizon hs.
