It was Panthers FanFest, so I was super excited. We checked in, went to room 204 & I checked the room like everyone should. There was hair in the bed. I called to report, they sent us to another room, 511 - I hated the view of the parking lot. I asked for another room 403. Again, there was hair in the bed and on the bed (red long strands of hair). I took pics & asked for another room. Next, the staff checked the room before I got there & the room was good. BUT!! on the next morning's BUFFET there was a long strand of Brown HAIR in the EGGS. They whisked the egg tray away and bought out another, but I had - had Enough! Time to GO! will not recommend to others.
Pros: The proximity to the stores and shopping. The stadium was just a few blocks walk. The staff was attentive and accommodating when told of a problem.
Cons: I liked the buffet - until I saw the HAIR in the EGGS. Oh my goodness, what is with hair and this hotel??? If you left the hotel parking wasn't that bad, but if you're late returning prepare to park behind the hotel - in the overflow area. They do validate!

Walking distance to uptown area. Refurbished rooms are very nice, staff friendly and helpful, great breakfast selection, good coffee. Lobby renovation only a slight inconvenience.
Pros: Staff, location, refurbished room, breakfast
Cons: Undergoing renovation a little inconvenient.
