Pros: The swimming pool.
Cons: There was major construction/renovation going on with bathtubs and debris spread around the parking lot, walkways, etc. I would not recommend staying at this motel until they are done remodeling. The room was definitely overpriced for the area.

Good, inexpensive, close to TIEC
Pros: Good selection for breakfast food which was ready and waiting when it was supposed to be. Good, clean room. Workers were not making noise at inappropriate hours while renovating another part of the facility. Everyone was kind and courteous. I had a terrible drive to get there and they were waiting for me to check in at 4am when I had intended to be there by 8PM the previous evening.
Cons: There was no smoke detector in the room. The knob was missing from the microwave to determine if you were defrosting or cooking. No TV listing, no comment card. Could use more electrical outlets.

Cons: My room, no wifi, tv only had one channel, fire alarm missing battery and was beeping, had to walk through mud and around construction supplies to get to my room. Got a smoking room, we are non smokers and it smelled of smoke.

Pros: We had to make several trips to Landrum and the location was convenient
Cons: I had to clean every hanger before hanging any clothes up. It's evident that there is some renovations going on and there was heavy construction dust on a lot of surfaces. Also, the corner behind the chair was filthy and had dead bugs.

Pros: Clean, the room and the property. I deeply appreciate that there was a place for the dogs to do business with bags and poop can provided. This Days Inn is dog friendly and the room was nice.
Cons: Still prefer a place that does not charge extra for dogs. However, I understand.

Pros: I liked that I was only staying there for 2 days.
Cons: The place was filthy. Black mold around the shower and tub. Dust everywhere especially behind the headboard. Under the vanity was covered in dust and dirt. The breakfast was not tasty or healthy- choices were toast, rolls, apples, waffles. The coffee was not good and the juice was watered down.Homeless people were walking around the parking lot in the morning and coming in to get a free breakfast.

Pros: Pillows were horrible. We had to change rooms. There were too many gnatts in our 1st rooms it was terrible. Next room touket was rocking away from floor. Coffee pot was not working properly. Low had to get shot. Said it would make my bones extra sore very fast.

Pros: Closest hotel I could find to TIEC. Several places to eat from fast food to various restaurants within a couple miles. Found the two queen beds spacious and comfortable. Only choice of hotel it seems if you want to be close to TIEC. And close is relative - still 10 miles away.
Cons: Very pricey considering pool not open, breakfast cereal stale, main manager unwilling to extend my stay by a night over the phone told me to just do it when I got there then had to go to office on last night because keys didn't work after I was in earlier to extend stay.

Pros: Clean, pleasant office/check-in staff, nice breakfast.
Cons: Dated property, worn out towels in our room. I booked through some travel site and could not take advantage of a discount (horse show discount from the Tryon International horse park) - not the hotels fault but I would have rather payed 10% less for our room!

Pros: They have waffles, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. for the continental breakfast. The area was kept clean & well stocked. Staff was friendly.

Cons: Manager charged us for two nights when we only stayed one night. We has a 4 night reservations but told hotel at check-in we could only stay one night Had to file complaint with B of A VISA to get credit for the 2nd night charge. Manager was rude and unrealistic considering the hotel was only about half full and our leaving did not cause him to loose any business.
