Museum of Life and Science is at 433 Murray Ave. The museum explores the natural and physical sciences through interactive exhibits. Visitors can see native wildlife in the Nature Center and rare species at the Bayer Insectarium, explore the world of paleontology on the Dinosaur Trail, bond with animals at the museum's farmyard and take a miniature train tour. Magic Wings Butterfly House is a three-story glass conservatory housing more than 500 tropical butterflies. Rental strollers and lockers are available. Guided tours are available. Food is available.
$16; $14 (ages 65+ and military with ID); $11 (ages 3-12). Miniature train tour $4. Bungee trampoline $5.
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5 (also Mon. 10-5, mid-Mar. to mid-Sept.), Sun. noon-5. Closed Jan. 1, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 2 hours minimum.
