AAA Inspector Notes
This restored 1775 manor house on 6 acres is furnished with antiques and reproductions. Rooms have king or queen beds with upscale bedding, and either a gas or wood-burning fireplace. Many rooms have jetted bathtubs, and four feature steam showers. If you're seeking more privacy, ask about the Garden Cottage or cabin, located adjacent to the backyard gardens. There are so many places to relax outside, like the gazebo, the swing, or on the brick patio beneath the shade of a huge magnolia. A four-course breakfast is served daily; after 9 a.m., a relaxed continental breakfast is offered. A romantic three- or five-course dinner, or the chef's specialty, is available for guests by reservation only. The inn offers electric vehicle charging stations.
Smoke free premises. 9 units, some cabins and cottages. 2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
