Great place to relive your own college heyday. This yummy café is always packed with students studying over coffee. Have a cookie and reminisce!
AAA Inspector Notes
The charming coffee shop occupies a vintage corner across the street from Duke University's east campus and is popular for its gourmet soups, salads and sandwiches, plus entrées like fish tacos, chicken quesadillas, and grilled salmon with olive tapenade. Breakfast is served all day, with brunch offered on weekends, and includes fare like organic oatmeal, silver dollar pancakes, and breakfast burritos. Coffee and a sweet treat make a great afternoon pick-me-up. The cookies, cakes and other confections on display in the bakery cases delight both the eye and the sweet tooth. The café closes at 5 p.m. on Sundays.
