AAA Inspector Notes
Sedate grays and smoky blues comprise a tranquil, stylish décor throughout the hotel. Standard rooms offer either a king or two queen beds with comfy white duvets, large desks and charging stations. King-bed junior suites are roughly the same size as a standard room, but include a pull-out sofa. If you're looking for additional room to spread out, inquire about a suite. Although the bed and living area are not separate, the studio suites feature additional floor space, wet bars and pull-out sofas. The king-bed suites have walk-in showers. A comprehensive continental breakfast, served daily in the attractive lobby, is complimentary and includes hot items. Smoke free premises. 109 units. 5 stories, interior corridors. Pros: The front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful. That was probable the best part of the stay.
Cons: SeeEggs were cheese omlets and only fair as were the sausage and potatoes. Linens on bed were frustrating because one had a sheet on top of which was a fairly heavy comforter. I was too cold with only the sheet on top but burning up when the comforter was used. There needs to be a thinner blanket or bedspread that could be placed on top of the sheet. The cost of this room was about $202 for one night. For that price the breakfast should have been stellar. Eggs were cheese omlets and only fair as were the sausage and potatoes. Pros: I liked the way the receptionist addressed my concerns during the checkout. The transition was smooth, however she did tell me why I had to hold the cost of the room on a credit card instead of being able to give them the check provided through my school.
Cons: I did not know that my card would be charged the cost of the room even though I had a check for payment. Not communicating this information could have been a big problem because the receptionist was not considerate of the fact that I did not know of their regulations and he would not take the check that the school gave me for payment. Luckily I had a credit card which was charged the full payment. WiFi requested the room number, so I did not bother with that because I did not want any more charges on my credit card.
