Catawba Science Center

Catawba Science Center, 243 Third Ave. N.E. on the SALT Block, contains hands-on exhibits that explore physical, natural and earth sciences. Aquarium galleries feature saltwater and freshwater habitats, including a touch tank with sharks and stingrays. Featured exhibits are scheduled throughout the year. The Millholland Planetarium offers full-dome digital features and laser light shows.
