AAA Editor Notes
Körner's Folly, 413 S. Main St., is a 22-room mansion designed by 19th-century artist and interior decorator Jule Gilmer Körner, whose true genius emerged in the decades he spent designing and redesigning the home. Built on three floors and seven levels, the rooms feature a variety of ceiling heights and architectural curiosities such as hidden nooks, trap doors and pivoting windows.
