After training with acclaimed American chefs, Chef Vivian Howard (of PBS’ “A Chef’s Life” fame) returned home to meld the Southern traditions of her roots with international influences gained from time spent in South America. Local farms and purveyors provide the best in fresh, sustainable goods for use in a seasonally changing menu of shareable appetizers and sides, and entrees like a brined, bone-in pork chop, jerk chicken, or creatively topped burgers. The dining room is located on the second floor of a 100-year-old former mule stable in the center town. Come as you are to enjoy a superior meal and friendly, laid-back service. Reservations are not accepted.
